Engagement love 🤍

Sharing more from M & N’s beautiful engagement session this spring. So much fun, romance and stunning west coast beauty to make for the perfect Nanaimo engagement session. I simply can’t wait for their wedding later this year 🫶

Speaking of this year, I’m getting mighty close to closing my books for 2026 with my calendar being just about full. If you’re thinking of booking in, don’t wait! It will be gone before you know it 🤍

2027 still has plenty of space but the popular wedding dates (May-October) are filling up as well.

Many of my couples getting married this year have been adding on hours of coverage to their already booked wedding photography collection 🫶

This is because everyone is seeing the value of slowing down. Instead of trying to fit as much in to your coverage as possible, we’re opting for balance, calm and cushions of time between things instead of rushing from one thing to the next.

And honestly? This is one of the smartest decisions you can make. Your wedding that you plan forever comes down to only one day. Enjoying that day should be at the top of your list. It goes by so quickly and being able to breathe will significantly add to your experience.

After the celebration is said and done, all that remains to preserve the memories are the photos. Making sure everything you want to remember is captured will never be something you regret 🤍

Celebrating this beautiful bride-to-be was so much fun. There truly is something so special about this time in life. Being a fiancée is so fun and exciting I simply could not get enough.

The berry much in love 🍓 theme of this day planned by her mom & sister was so sweet and their effort and attention to detail blew me away.

Getting to witness and document these incredible celebrations makes my heart so very full. There’s truly nothing else I would rather do 🤍

Love me an engagement session that is equal parts dreamy, romantic and 𝘧𝘶𝘯.

Engagement sessions are my favourite type of session of all time. You just get to show up, play, connect and laugh - I’ll do the rest 🤍

Not many spots remain for 2026 sessions and my calendar for 2027 weddings is booking up too 🗓️

Let’s start the conversation early and please don’t wait too long to lock in your date. It breaks my heart when I have to say I’m already booked on your date, and it happens far too often 😩

One of the things I hear most often from couples is:

“We’re awkward in front of the camera.”

The truth is, most people aren’t comfortable being posed for long periods of time. That’s why I always include movement and prompts like this throughout my sessions.

It helps you focus on each other instead of the camera, creating photos that feel natural, connected and genuinely you.

This one’s called the cinnamon roll and it’s always a favourite.

Beyondddd excited to share this stunning greenhouse wedding in Nanaimo! 🤍

This is officially part ☝️ and part ✌️ is also full of so much goodness (think stunning sunset and dance party!)

It was such an honour to be part of D + J’s wedding at their family farm. I often travel all over the island and gulf islands to capture celebrations but I always find it so special when I get to capture one so close to home 🫶

This day was so thoughtfully designed and SO much love was put into creating the vision that it was. The weather this day was absolutely wild but didn’t stop this couple from creating the best memories.

We had a blast exploring the all the views via golf cart and spending time in the greenhouse taking advantage of the florals and constant beauty that was everywhere.

Such a special day, such a special couple 🥰
