Advanced Diesel Engineering

Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Technician (Part time and Full Time positions available)

Location: Northern Ontario – Mining & Field Service

Advanced Diesel Engineering is expanding and looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our growing team. We specialize in diagnostics, repair, and field service repairs, working on some of the largest machines in the industry.

This position is ideal for technicians who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, working independently, and solving complex mechanical problems in the field.

💰 $40 – $65 per hour
(Based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment in mining environments
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and component repairs
• Use diagnostic software and tooling for fault finding
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation

• Excavators
• Rock trucks
• Loaders
• Dozers
• Drills

Requirements

• 3–5+ years heavy equipment or mining experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work shift work (nights and days)
• Ability to work independently in field environments
• Valid driver’s license
