We had clear skies in Thunder Bay today, but my thoughts are with the individuals, families, & communities who are continually impacted by the ongoing forest fires in Northwestern Ontario.
As someone who worked in forest fire logistics for 8 years, I know firsthand that many people responding are working long, grueling hours in demanding conditions to help keep Ontario safe. Please keep the firefighters, pilots, dispatchers, logistics teams, and anyone supporting these efforts in your thoughts.
To support relief efforts for evacuees, I will be donating a portion of the profits from every Thunder Bay Icon sweater sold.
