This was a hard one.
A few weeks ago, I had to move out and say goodbye to my downtown art studio space on Lazelle Ave.
That little studio was so much more than just a place to make art. It was a space where I got to create, host a few pop-up art shows, host paint and craft nights, connect with other artists, and simply spend time doing something I love. Paint & create.
In the years I had the space, it never quite grew into everything I had hoped it would become. But that doesn’t take away from what it was — a dream art studio and a very special place that I was incredibly lucky to call mine for these past few years.
Sadly, that chapter has now come to an end.
I’m not quite sure what my next art studio will look like, or even where it will be. So for now, I’m taking some time to figure that out and see where the next chapter takes me. 🎨
But I wanted to let you know that I’m still here, and I’m still making art. ❤️
(You just won’t find me anymore in my art studio on Lazelle Ave).
