AMY SMITH — SHE'S DOING IT AGAIN!

Cape Breton, we need to talk about Amy Smith for a moment. 💙

Last night, Amy attended the Steve Poltz show at the Folic and Folk Pub at the beautiful Iona Heights Inn — and what happened next is exactly the kind of story that gives us goosebumps every single time.

Steve Poltz — one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters in the world — invited Amy up to sing a song.

Just like that. Right there on the spot.

And you know what? She absolutely delivered. Because that's what Amy Smith does.

This is WHY we do what we do.

One week ago, Amy was performing at the inaugural D-Rock Youth Sessions Vol. 1 at Daniel's Alehouse & Eatery. Then she was invited to open for Adam Baldwin, Uncle Hector Baldwin & The Men of the Deep in Membertou. And now she's sharing the stage — spontaneously and fearlessly — with Steve Poltz at one of Cape Breton's most beloved venues.

This is not a coincidence. This is what happens when a young artist is READY — and when a community rallies behind them. 🔥
