Squamish Rampage began in 2014 as a community-organized annual event organized by volunteers from the Vancouver Rock Climbing Group (VRCG), a publicly registered not-for-profit organization. The first 5 one-day events provided opportunities for participants to boulder together in the Grand Wall bouldering area. The purpose of the annual event has always been to to bring the community together to c

elebrate and sample local climbing, raise funds to protect local climbing access and maintain climbing areas/routes/trails by donating proceeds to the Squamish Access Society, and provide opportunities for beginners to try outdoor rock climbing and to learn outdoor etiquette and ethics from experienced climbers. Our Story

Squamish Rampage is an annual bouldering & acroyoga festival that unites the local and international climbing & acroyoga community to celebrate our community and raise $ & memberships for:

  • Squamish Access Society to protect Squamish climbing, reopen old routes, open new routes…

  • Climb and Conquer Charity to introduce climbing and caring mentorships to youth from at risk circumstances.
  • The event name was named after an iconic bouldering movie, “Rampage (1999),” that helped launch the bouldering revolution. The movie featured Chris Sharma, one of the world’s best rock climbers, who dedicates his life to advance the sport of rock climbing and using climbing as a tool for charity.
