Sometimes it comes from learning a new step.
Finding a new friend.
Laughing until your cheeks hurt.
Walking into a room a little nervous... and leaving a little more confident.
That’s exactly what our Mini Summer Dance Intensive is all about.
Over three fun-filled days, dancers ages 7–12 will explore new styles, build technique, make friendships, and experience the kind of encouraging environment AMPD is known for.
Whether your child dances every week or is simply looking for a fun summer experience, we’d love to welcome them.

Not the former professional dancer.
Not the person who “already knows all the steps.”

But for the woman who’s always wanted to dance.
The woman who hasn’t danced in years.
The woman who secretly loves musical theatre but worries she’ll look silly.

Soul & Sass is about moving your body, having fun, and reconnecting with a part of yourself that may have been buried under work, responsibilities, and taking care of everyone else.

No judgment.
No pressure.
No experience required.

Just a room full of women cheering each other on while learning a Cabaret/Fosse/Chicago-inspired routine that’s equal parts confidence, creativity, and fun.

You don’t have to be good enough to start.

You just have to be brave enough to walk through the door.
