The Sooke Community Choir

The Sooke Community Choir The Sooke Community Choir is a non-profit choir serving the Sooke, British Columbia area. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from September to May.

Formed in 1989, the Sooke Community Choir is a non-profit, non-auditioned singing haven for joyful voices in our seaside town. We perform Spring and Christmas concerts as well as participate in community events such as The Spring Sing Out with Sooke Schools, Remembrance Day at the Legion, and for our seniors at Ayre Manor,

If you are interested in a musical milieu where you will expand your vocal

skills, musical knowledge and enjoy joining voices in harmonic song, this may be what you are looking for. We look forward to Singing with You!

We recorded this greeting specifically for our regular accompanist Allie, but wanted to share with everyone too!

If you'd like to join us, rehearsals start Tuesday Jan 6. 7pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Murray Road in Sooke. We'd love to have you join us. A little birdie told me the spring session is inspired by Broadway!

We LOVE spending an evening singing at Ayre Manor in Sooke! It wouldn't be Christmas without spending an evening here. Such a joy and delight to look out and see so many smiling faces and to hear folks join in singing the carols with us.

That's the last of our community engagements for 2025 but we'll be back at it in January!! Rehearsals start on the 6th - 7pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church!

Spoiler alert - if youre a fan of broadway musicals, you won't want to miss this upcoming season!! 🎉
