Summer Beach Fest - Lesser Slave Lake

We are excited to announce that the Beach Fest Society's first ever AGM will take place on Tuesday, October 6th, 7:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn conference room! This meeting is where we will elect new board members and assign roles for the year, and we are inviting anybody interested in joining our team to please come and meet with us.
Planning for an event like this is a big undertaking, and we are so short-handed that we fear Beach Fest 2027 may be at risk. We are very hopeful that we can get some fresh faces to carry Beach Fest forward. If you have any questions or would like to express interest in a position before this meeting, please email [email protected].

We couldn't fit everyone in this poster - to those of you who showed up and donated your time to volunteer for first aid, traffic control, event support and more, please know that this event could not have happened without you.

A pair of prescription glasses were found at Beach Fest on Saturday the 8th. We will hang on to them for 14 days. If they belong to you, please DM us with a description and we'll make sure you get them back!

🏈 The RMSS Football/Basketball Team - you may have seen them in a few videos absolutely NAILING the YMCA. Not to mention, they stayed all weekend to help with setup and takedown.

Wow, Slave Lake. Beach Fest 2026 has officially concluded, and what a success it was! The weather was gorgeous, and the great people in our community and even visitors from other cities and provinces all pulled together to make this incredible event happen.

Big thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, participants, and municipal partners for making it a success.

Our crew with the LSL Beach Fest Society is taking a well-deserved break for a few days after our year of organizing has finally come to a close, but keep an eye out over the next week or two for photos, updates, and appreciation for all of the incredible contributions from our supporters.
