This fall, the Valhalla Fine Arts is bringing you a weekend acting workshop focused on playful exploration, spontaneity, and embodied expression.

Led by Val Campbell — director, actor, movement educator, and Associate Professor Emerita at the University of Calgary — this workshop will invite participants to explore the creative process through movement, play, and performance.

Suitable for all experience levels, especially those interested in exploring the creative process and discovering new ways of approaching performance.

📅 Date & location: Coming soon!

Keep an eye out for more details and registration information coming soon. We hope you'll join us for a weekend of curiosity, creativity, and playing with performance!

In July, our Summer Dance students answered one simple question: "What did we learn in dance?"

Their thoughtful responses are a wonderful reflection of the creativity, growth, and joy they experienced throughout the week.

We are incredibly proud of each and every student for their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things throughout the week.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing facilitator and dance instructor, Janita Frantsi, for sharing your passion, creativity, and expertise. Your encouragement helped create a fun, welcoming, and inspiring experience for everyone.

Thank you to all the students and families who made Summer Dance 2026 such a memorable week. We can't wait to see you again!
