Sicamous Fungi Festival is an annual festival which celebrates mushrooms. We hunt for them and then we celebrate by cooking them, eating them, dancing, drinking and enjoying everything Sicamous has to offer in the fall.

Hungry? Mushroom soup by donation is ready upstairs at the legion - chanterelle vegan, Thai curry and D Dutchmen cream chanterelle. A bowl of that and a fabulous sandwich from damn good eats in the food truck outside. What could be better?

Got this report back from the field trip we organized for the Eagle River secondary outdoor education class.

"Found lotsa mush, (chicken of the woods, honey mush, jacks, puffballs, conks) they were a chill group in general. An easy walk.

They are from the Outdoor Ed Class that Curtis teaches. Their highlight was likely the salmon run happening now rather than the mushrooms, but a few of them seemed to enjoy popping some bubble gum fungus balls"
