Ohhh these often line up the same days as Story Jam. This one doesn’t! This coming Thursday!

From Saskatchewan Writers Guild:

The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild and Willow Country Restaurant and Lounge are pleased to present an in-person event titled ‘Saskatoon’s Reader’s Corner’, an evening that brings people together to share their stories through readings from their work. We believe these stories bring smiles, tears, laughter, and the celebration of sharing. Featured writers are: Elizabeth Merasty, Rachel Laverdiere, Khodi Dill, Wilfred Burton and Danica Lorer! Family and friends are invited to come enjoy this beautiful evening of fun! Food and drinks are available for purchase.

May 14 at 7:30 pm at the Willow Country Restaurant & Lounge (412 Willowgrove Square #113, Saskatoon, SK).

Willow Country Restaurant & Lounge is an accessible venue, which includes a wheelchair ramp and an accessible door. Free parking is available. This event is free and open to the public.

And the winner of Saskatoon Story Slam Jane’s Walk Edition was… 🥁🥁🥁…a TIE.

For those that caught it live, the neurons in my brain were either firing too fast or too slow. I announced Carey and Donna as the winners. 😅

It was FRANCESCA and Donna. And it was beautiful chaos. Francesa, you get the MVP of the night. Live shows keep us humble. LOL

And Carey… stay tuned. We have a Carey announcement coming up next week. 👀

But seriously, check out the pandemonium on stage. Thanks for the pics, Dylan.

❤️❤️❤️
