some snaps from our member appreciation event this past weekend!

Thank you to our members and students for making Blackbox what it is. We wouldn't be here without all of you!

Big shout out to Hassan Ahmed for facilitating a movement workshop for our members! And thank you to Ancient Spirals retreat centre for the perfect spot to host this event.

We started this community as a way for people to connect through the shared love of creating while working on ourselves through the craft of improv, performance, and acting. It's become a safe space for anyone to express, find connection, and to grow from the inside out. We see people looking out for each other, building each other up, and lifelong friendships being made. Watching the community evolve has been a special thing.

So thank you- to all our members and anyone who has supported along the way. 🩷🙏
