A video of me carving with a rotary tool for the first time. 'SurfacePalooza' wood finishes workshop with Mike Hosaluk , Melissa and Graeme. I sketched on my Neuro Art / Abstract design we came up with as a fresh design that come to mind, right off the start.

I didn't have a finished vision of this birch bowl, it evolved as the course went on. I ended up using each section for a new technique I learned during the next five intensive days.

Spent five days nurturing my inner Artist. Attended a wood surface workshop at my neighbor and legendary Wood Turner Mike Hosaluk's. Workshop was led by two other amazing instructors from U.S and New Zealand. I'm on fire about carving with a rotary tool! Exploring new tips with the burner and finishes has my Spirit renewed for creativity.

I worked on wood turned birch bowls by Mike Hosaluk. I was honored.
