Celtic Strings

Celtic Strings Performing traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England! The instruments included in both ensembles are the violin, viola, cello and double bass.

The Celtic Strings are based in Saskatoon, SK and comprised of two brand-new orchestras, The Junior and Senior Celtic Strings. We perform traditional folk music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England including lively jigs and reels. We rehearse on a weekly basis and play regularly in the community. The Junior and Senior Celtic Strings are fun and exciting orchestras that your child will love to

be a part of! Junior Celtic Strings - level: RCM grades 2-3 / ages: 8-13
(students younger than 8 that have the necessary level of concentration may join)

Senior Celtic Strings - level: RCM grades 3-4 / ages: 13-18
(students younger than 13 who are at the level required may join)
