I had the pleasure of DJing a wedding in an open-air venue in Blenheim, Ontario. Timber Ridge Event Centre was absolutely beautiful.

Sing-alongs are a great way to close out a wedding DJ set. It brings the energy down and signals an end to the celebrations.

In the video clip attached, I am playing a song that is often requested at weddings.

I love cutting out the music during “Sweet Caroline” so you can clearly hear everyone yell, “Bah, bah, bah!”. It’s always a lot of fun for everyone in attendance. Unexpected moments like this really can really move a crowd.

Not only did they yell the lyrics with enthusiasm, one of the guests declared, “You’re the man.”

This was followed up by the groom saying,

“Hey everybody, let’s thank the DJ for doing a great job!”

This was followed by a group cheer, more singing, and some energetic dancing to close out the night.

This small moment really made my night.
