Have you ever seen a ghost?

I’ve been playing around with these little ghost melts, and I think they may be too cute to keep to myself.

Would you be interested in seeing these little ghostys join the Whimsy & Grace autumn collection?

Perfect for adding a little bit of mystery to those dark, cozy autumn evenings.

And now I have to know… have you ever had a ghostly encounter of your own? 👻 I have.

🍂 Autumn succulents are coming soon...

Rich burgundy, deep plum, burnt orange, copper and touches of green — a little wax garden inspired by all the beautiful colours of autumn.

I think these would look so lovely tucked into an autumn tablescape, glowing among pumpkins, greenery and candlelight. They would also make a unique Thanksgiving hostess gift — something a little different to bring along instead of the usual bottle of w**e or flowers.

Each one is handcrafted and arranged individually, so no two will be quite the same.

I love finding new purposes for old things.

It’s easy to buy something new, but there’s something a little magical about finding something forgotten and giving it another life.

I found these beautiful brass goblets while thrifting and immediately thought… why not turn them into candles?

I could only find three, which somehow makes me love them even more. Each one will become a candle topped with an anatomical heart — a little unusual, a little romantic, and definitely one of a kind.

Only three will be available. 🖤

Something a little dark is taking shape for fall…

I’ve been working with these anatomical hearts lately, and I’m curious about making them in miniature, as wax melts.
Deep oxblood reds, dark autumn scents, maybe a little shimmer catching in all those tiny details. Something beautiful, strange, and a bit haunting.

Would you be interested in anatomical heart wax melts?

And if so… what would you want them to smell like? 🖤

Also on the testing table — this anatomical heart. 🫀🕯️

Definitely one of my favourite molds, and pretty perfect with spooky season slowly approaching.

Although, if I’m being fair, I love moody decor all year round. There’s something about unusual, slightly curious pieces that I’ll choose over ordinary every time.

I’m testing the wick now, and once I have the burn where I want it, I’m thinking deep oxblood for this one… or perhaps a really vivid, dramatic red.

Then comes my next challenge: figuring out how to package these sculptural candles so their details and beauty aren’t hidden away in a box. I want the packaging to feel just as special as what’s inside.

Oxblood or vivid red?

Coming soon from the Curiosities Collection The Veiled Lady.

She’s currently undergoing another burn test. I’m trying a smaller wick this time, with sculptural candles, some dripping and melting is part of their nature, but I’d still like to find that sweet spot between a beautiful burn and a good burn time. She’s been going for just over an hour here and so far, so good.

Now I’m already imagining her in deep black with a little mica catching the details of the veil, or maybe a rich oxblood red. I’ve also found a gorgeous woody autumn scent that I think will suit her perfectly.

Cozy season is coming quickly, and I’m ready for it. Cooler nights, earlier sunsets, candles glowing around the house… a little bit of magic to brighten those dark autumn evenings.

The Veiled Lady is coming soon. 🕯️🍂
Which would you choose — black or oxblood?

I was out looking for some containers for my succulent candles. Ever since I was a child, "reduce, reuse, recycle" has stuck with me. There are so many beautiful new vessels you can buy, but there's something special about finding one that's already had a life. Even better if it's old or handmade. I love wondering where it's been, who treasured it before me, and giving it a new purpose instead of seeing it end up as broken ceramics in a landfill.

I found a few containers today... nothing too exciting, sometimes we can't be picky, but then I came across these little story plates, and I couldn't leave them behind. I definitely didn't need them, but sometimes a little treasure just makes you smile.

Why do little trinkets make me so happy? Maybe it's because I'm British... we live a trinket! ❤️

I'd love to see your favourite thrifted treasures too. What little find have you come across that you just couldn't leave behind?

Share a photo in the comments! I'd love to see your finds.

🌿 Coming Soon... 🌿

Step inside the Forgotten Conservatory.

My newest collection of hand-poured succulent garden candles will be arriving soon. Each one is individually crafted in a reclaimed vintage vessel using a beeswax blend, making every piece completely unique.

Fragrance Notes
🌿 Top: Lemon • Bergamot • Mandarin • Green Leaves • Grapefruit
🌸 Heart: Lily of the Valley • Jasmine
🌲 Base: Cypress • Ambergris

Imagine the scent of a dew-kissed conservatory after a gentle rain, fresh citrus, delicate white florals, lush greenery, and the quiet warmth of aged stone.

These candles are designed as functional art, created to be enjoyed long after the flame has gone. Once the candle has finished, simply wash the vessel and reuse it as a planter, trinket dish, or keepsake.

I can't wait to share the Forgotten Conservatory collection with you. More details, pricing, and availability will be announced soon.

Trying something new... 🕯️💜

Candle making is therapy for me, so I like to experiment.
I love how this geode candle turned out, but at 3 hours to make and with a limited burn time and a mess you wouldnt believe, I don't think it's one I'll be selling.

The crystals and layered agate effect, though? I absolutely love them. Maybe they'll find their way into a future Whimsy & Grace creation. ✨
