In some different timeline INIT Festival 2026 would be kicking off right now - and based off the weather report and the magic that was already steadily brewing - we can surmise it would have been a memorable weekend…✨

But this timeline we currently find ourselves in is an especially spicy one that presented some existential challenges that necessitated either adaptation or the complete end to the project. 🦋

After weathering the storm that we found ourselves in as we lost our venue and subsequently had a complex maze of problems to be solved - we chose to keep going and are excited to start sharing about where we’re headed after this re-orientation and what we have in store for 2027. 🧭

But first, this weekend we have two very special showcases featuring one of UK Dubstep’s true pioneers: Youngsta

“We keeping you up to speed with hardcore music.
The music is what it’s all about.
I love it just like YOU love it.
That’s why you’re here. I’m here cause I love to play. You don’t come, I can’t play and I love to play.
So I’m not going to make too many speeches cause it’s all about the music.
You just heard a hardcore sequence of hot shot dubplates from down Jamaica way.
Right about now we’re gonna change the pace and change the style.
During the course of the night, we switch and we swap and we ride round the track TOGETHER.”
