❤️March 8 International Women’s Day❤️ We celebrate the strengths and talents of Women year round and it is important to reflect on Women’s Rights and Equity.

On the stage and behind the scenes, we know that women have worked very hard through the generations for representation. This year’s theme is “give to gain” and we hear that as a call for reciprocity and supporting women’s voices and initiatives.

❤️Our co-founder & director is a woman, mother, and musician who gives countless hours of her time to create a supportive space for arts, culture & community collaboration!

❤️We notice that most of the events hosted at Song Sparrow Hall are planned out and carried out largely by women!

❤️We are grateful for all the incredible Women that work to create magic in our space!

❤️Thank you Salmon Arm & the Shuswap for supporting Women in arts, culture & community events!

March 14th - Reggae Dance Party featuring Mostly Marley

🎶Live Music at Song Sparrow Hall🎶

Mike Henry formed Mostly Marley in 2003 with the idea of bringing classic reggae to an otherwise starving audience. The name stems from having been asked; “What kind of music do you play?” The answer would always be “Classic Reggae by various artists, but mostly Marley.” The band packs rooms & festival venues all around BC and best of all this band suits the laid-back Vancouver lifestyle perfectly. Last year, they were one of the most popular bands at the North Shuswap’s weekly summer concert series, Friday Night Live, where they packed the dance “floor” for nearly their entire show.

Mostly Marley performs with passion while always remaining true to the spirit of Reggae. Mostly Marley is a band that takes you on a musical odyssey- with good times to be had by all.
