Well hard to believe another year has come and gone. What's harder to believe I have been in business for almost 22 years in the same location. Sure doesn't feel like it. I did all kinds of fences and railings and a few gates this year. 2026 opens with a big Art Show and new projects to start. I would like to thank everyone for all your continued support. Happy New Year Everyone.

Come out on January 10th to Salmo to the Artventure Art Exhibition & Competition & help crown this years champion.

Here is what's happening.
Artists competing include: Painters, Metalworkers, Woodworkers, Photographers, Illustrators, Glass artists, Textile artists & Mixed Media artists.

Live music by: Driftwood, Marty Carter, Sem Kelpin & Jason Thomas.

The Salmo District Arts Council will be giving away an Arts Basket as a Door Prize.

So come out and vote for your favorite artist and art at this free event.

I need some help here .
I am currently in talks regarding next years Artventure Art show. Everything is going well. I know it is hard to imagine but even a small event like this takes many months to plan and organize. But here are the updates. The show will be moving to the Salmo Valley
Youth And Community Centre and we will be adding a youth component and expanding the show slightly. I have to pick a day for the show. September and October are out next year. Which leaves the end of August or the beginning of November. Which do you prefer for an art show. If you have any other suggestions please feel free to let me know.

***Update*** on the Artventure Art Exhibition & Competition. Everything is going according to plan. Just about everything is worked out. I am just putting the final touches on the rules and stipulations to enter and than I will be putting the "Call To Artists" out. This should happen within the next couple of weeks so keep checking this site frequently.

A little over a week ago I posted a notice about an arts exhibition/competition I was considering. I also posted the notice on my other two pages. I just wanted to thank you for the positive support and I have taken the next steps in making this event a reality. If this happens the call out for artists will happen at the end of April to Mid May depending when preparations and funding is complete. So far the date set is September 28th at the Salmo Library.
