Today we celebrate 78 years of the State of Israel, a story of resilience, hope, and renewal. From generation to generation, we carry forward a deep connection to our people, our history, and our future.

As we mark this day of joy, we also hold space for reflection and unity across our global community.

On Yom HaZikaron, Israel stands still.

We bow our heads in memory of Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror — those whose lives were taken too soon, but whose strength, courage, and sacrifice are forever woven into the story of our people.

Behind every name is an entire world.
Behind every loss is a family, a pain, a wound that never fully heals.
And behind every sacrifice is our duty to remember.

Today, we do not only mourn.
We make a promise.

To remember those who gave their lives for Israel and the Jewish people.
To protect the truth of what they fought for.
To live in a way that makes their sacrifice mean something.

Because of them, Israel stands.
Because of them, our people continue to live, build, defend, and hope.

May their memory be a blessing.
May their courage continue to lead us forward.
And may we always be worthy of those we have lost.

Mimouna is the celebration Moroccan Jews created for the night Passover ends
Doors wide open, tables piled with sweet pastries, honey, and mufleta (think: thick crepes drowning in butter and honey).
It started in North Africa and became one of Israel's most beloved cultural traditions.

Chag Pesach Sameach from your NBIC fam! 🇮🇱

Passover kicks off next Wednesday night (April 1) and whether you're hosting a full Seder, keeping it simple with matzah and charoset, or just soaking in the spring vibes — we're thinking of you.

It's a time to gather around the table, tell stories, eat WAY too much, and remind ourselves what FREEDOM and new beginnings mean to us. That's what this community is all about!

Wishing all of you a beautiful, warm Pesach surrounded by the people you love. 💙
