✨ My heart is so full. ✨
As the weekend settles and everyone begins integrating their experiences, the messages and comments keep pouring in… and I can’t stop smiling.
Here are just a few of the beautiful things participants have shared:
💖 “So much healing and integration with beautiful people. I loved reconnecting with my friends as well as making new ones.” – Meg Tweed
🌿 “What an amazing festival! Thanks to all who made it possible…” – Dolphin Kasper
🌸 “Had such a great time!” – April Dawn
🙏 “Thank you Yaela! I hope you are integrating everything from the event. It was really so wonderful and I appreciate all the work you put in as organizer. You did a great job.”
💫 “Thank you for a life-changing weekend!! So grateful to be a part of this beautiful community…” – Summer Day
💞 I have so much gratitude for you and what you created! That that was your first year is quite impressive. It was exactly what I needed and I am so grateful that I attended. Truly truly truly 🙏🏾✨️🥰
✨ Hi Yaela, thank you for putting on an amazing festival. I just wanted to shoot you a message because I didn't get a chance to tell you that what you said in the closing really resonated with me and I'm glad you chose to share. I'm a single mom too, and I have felt so much pressure to find a new partner and attempt some (re) build as a nuclear family. As if it were so straightforward. I feel that grief over the complexity of that...and I also feel that community is the antidote.
Thank you for your work and thank you for sharing parts of yourself.
❤️ “Love, love, love.” – Meg Tweed
These words remind me why we created the Alberta Ta**ra Festival in the first place—to build a community where people feel safe to heal, connect, grow, laugh, cry, and truly be themselves.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, facilitated, and supported this vision: thank you. You are what made this festival so magical.
Take your time integrating. Keep nurturing the connections you made. And remember… the festival may be over, but this community is just getting started.
With so much love and gratitude,
Yaela ❤️
