The great thing about having a deadline to come up with a new idea from scratch is...you have to produce. When Westland Insurance asked me to come up with a special Toast to the Grads on Zoom their employees who managed to keep working AND upgrade their credentials, I was all over it. A wonderful bunch of grads, and such a supportive leadership team.

The Toast to the Grads couldn't have gone better. It was equal parts laughs, original content, fun challenges and sincere congratulations - with some extra surprises.

This pro game show buzzer system is making my games even more fun. When you know the answer FIRST, you really want something to hit that makes a good BUZZZZZ and immediately shows up to 200 of your workmates that you buzzed in first...you know...until you give the wrong answer. lol. It's been a ton of fun and the system is foolproof. This was another great investment in raising the gamefication bar even more.

Cautionary tale: Went to my Character Guys FB page to update to my new company name: Mike Cavers Entertainment. I was moving a bit too fast trying to fit this simple action in before a meeting.

It was only after I updated my info that I realized that I typed Mike Cavers Event Entertainmnment ... yeah. Awesome. Ooops. So, went right in to correct - and I can't. Facebook literally will not allow me to correct the error UNTIL FEBRUARY 10TH. They decided they don't like me editing the name twice in one day. Awesome. Thanks Facebook.

I was lucky enough to climb aboard this very creative online event by Carte Blanche Events. Julie Connolly and Total Entertainment's Al Guraliuk had the vision of hundreds of guests exploring multiple online rooms, discovering magic shows, live bands, a DJ, games and interactive comedy characters.

Besides bringing me in on the project, Total Entertainment Network's Al Guraliuk brought on the talented Tracy Bell and her Divas show, the unforgettable Lucy Darling and Wes Baker for their magic shows, Koko Soul and John Gilliat for live music plus DJ Sammy FX.

In coordination with Total Entertainment Network, My job was to shoot and edit a welcome video, create games, concepts and interactive comedy characters for 13 more rooms, cast my actors, rehearse and emcee the event - plus find great actors to play baristas in the "virtual chat cafes". My clip below is me (AKA Jack Frost) introducing my characters and rooms, edited in with the welcome video.
