Hey everyone! This Wednesday, April 29th is the international Day of Dance. To celebrate, we will be participating in a dance workshop at the Brilliant Experience studio!
Resisdance - Weapons of Mass Expression is a dynamic, movement-based workshop that blends dance, creativity, and storytelling as tools for resistance and self-expression. Participants will explore how the body can be used to challenge narratives, reclaim space, and amplify personal and collective voices. No dance experience needed—just a willingness to move, reflect, and express.
About the facilitators and the studio:
Kodinna Anaka is a performance artist driven by rhythm, intensity, and storytelling. From the fierce expression of Immortal Dance to the cinematic energy of Thriller flash mobs, his work blends creativity with discipline. He thrives in collaborative spaces, using movement as a universal language that connects and excites audiences. With commanding stage presence and sharp choreography, Kodinna delivers performances rich in emotion and precision. Committed to growth and community impact, he transforms every stage into an unforgettable experience. Outside of performance, Kodinna is a professional lawyer from Nigeria interested in advocating for justice and human rights.
Fior Saoirse Skye believes that art and performance are triumphs of the human spirit in challenging times and uses them as activities for social exploration harnessing their power to arouse feelings of curiosity, wonderment and joy. Enchanted with the power of the natural world, Fior’s performances often combine elements of earth, wind, fire and water to create something magical for your enjoyment.
