Another 2026 concert in the books.
AbZolutely Choir Durham shared their love of singing to raise funds for the Westminister United Church community Outreach Initiatives. When u listen to this beautiful song " As the Lights Go Out" it just hits your soul.

This beautiful new Sanctuary Tutoring & Cafe will be open next week during our concert on Tuesday, June 9, with the AbZolutely Choir Toronto chapter! Their regular hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, they will happily extend their hours on the evening of our concert to accommodate the concert attendees. They will also remain open during intermission to provide refreshments and a welcoming space for attendees.

They offer a variety of baked goods, beverages, and a comfortable seating area where guests/the choir can relax and wait before the concert begins. You’re going to love this café!

Hey everyone, we were advised on Thursday night that there could be some extra seating for the AbZolutely Durham Choir’s year-end concert next Thursday.

So our sold-out show is not necessarily sold out.

Feel free to tell people that there are tickets available.

Since we are so close to the concert date, we will charge the $20 rate if they get them at the door.

The AbZolutely Northumberland lassies with very special guests from Durham AZC rocked the What's the Scoop event at Roseglen Village Retirement Residence last weekend in Port Hope. Here they sing "Rise Up" and do a great job, too!

This is why our AbZolutely Peterborough gals are honoured to perform our year-end concert in support of Right to Heal, a Redpath Wellness Centre initiative, on Monday, June 15, at Murray Street Baptist Church in Peterborough! Redpath is a wonderful organization!

At RedPath Wellness Centre, we have learned that healing does not happen through sweeping statements or trying to “fix” everything overnight.

It happens person by person.
Conversation by conversation.
Day by day.

As our Manager of Programs, Liz Shaughnessy Rowe so powerfully shared:
“We’re not here to change the system. We’re actually here to help one person, one day at a time.”

That perspective shapes the work we do every single day. We meet people where they are. We walk alongside them through addiction, trauma, mental health struggles, grief, and recovery. We celebrate progress, even when it feels small, because small steps still move people forward.

At the end of the day, healing is human work. And we are incredibly proud of the compassionate team, community partners, and individuals who continue showing up for one another.

Thank you for believing in the work, supporting the mission, and helping us create a community where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Fabulous how at Roseglen Village Retirement Residence's What's the Scoop event on the weekend in Port Hope.

The AbZolutely Northumberland lassies, with very special guests from Durham AZC, rocked the What's the Scoop event. I thought maybe it was the ice cream that lured everybody out on this rainy afternoon. But I think it was actually the sorority and the joy radiating from us, from the audience and kids playing with balloons, and Kelly the golden retriever... OK, and maybe also the lactose-free chocolate from Kawartha Dairy (your director caved for that. Sooo sweet - I mean the singing, of course!)
