Our July 5-day Stone Carving Workshop was a wonderful week! Despite hot weather and one very rainy day, the group of nine sculptors, some experienced and some complete beginners created many beautiful works of art! The participants ranged in age from 14 to 83! Each person brought unique ideas, energy and positivity to their work in the studio. The highly collaborative nature of the group was inspiring. They shared ideas, tools, techniques, and lots of laughs. No matter how many times I lead stone carving workshops, I am always amazed at the diversity of art created and the generosity of the participants! If you’re looking for a unique, challenging, enjoyable experience this summer, we have a couple spots in our August 1-3 long weekend workshop and in our last 5-day workshop of the season August 10-14.
