Today — December 31, 2025 — marks the end of nearly 16 remarkable years in the tattoo industry. What began as a passion for ink, art, and storytelling has grown into something far greater than I ever imagined.
Over the years, I opened and operated multiple tattoo studios under the name Hellbender Ink Vintage Tattoo, growing from one space into four shops and earning recognition and 17 awards along the way.
I’ve had the privilege of tattooing clients from across Ontario, and over 35 different countries — from first-timers and seasoned collectors to travelers, families, and friends. I moved beyond the studio walls and took my art on the road as a mobile tattoo artist in 2020, bringing my craft directly to people’s homes, events, and communities throughout the province. I've met and tattooed many celebrities which opened many doors, experiences and opportunities I'll never forget.
I’ve watched trends change and styles evolve — yet what stayed the same was your trust in me. Whether sitting in one of the shops, seeing you for a custom piece, or meeting you on the road, it was always an honour to be part of your story, your expression, and your skin. The tattoos we created weren’t just ink — they were memories, milestones, comradery, and sometimes even healing.
To every client who walked through the door, reached out for a booking, braved their first tattoo with me, or simply shared a laugh in the chair — thank you. Your trust pushed me to grow, improve, and keep creating for over a decade and a half.
Thank you to the friends I’ve made along the way — fellow artists, collaborators, supporters, and industry peers. Thank you to the communities who welcomed me in Smithville, Parry Sound, Brantford, and so many towns across Ontario. I couldn’t have done this without you.
As I step away from tattooing full-time and begin this next chapter of life, I take with me the stories, laughter, challenges, and the incredible privilege of having worked on so many of you. My heart is full knowing I helped people carry something meaningful — artistically and personally — wherever they go.
To every soul who trusted me with their skin:
Thank you for almost 16 unforgettable years.
Here’s to the next chapter, and to every mark we made together along the way.
