Our choir was truly honored and delighted to perform at the presentation of book “Standing with Underdogs.”

It was a meaningful evening filled with inspiring conversations, warmth, and a strong sense of community. We are grateful to have been part of such a special event and to share music that brings people together.

Congratulations to David on this important and heartfelt work — may the book continue to inspire and support many people. ✨

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Dear guests of our page 😊

We are opening enrollment for our musical-instrumental ensemble UKIES!

We are looking for vocalists and instrumentalists who have experience in music-making (even if it is minimal).

We perform Ukrainian songs and are also planning to expand our repertoire by exploring the musical traditions of other cultures.

We would be very happy to invite you to a rehearsal and audition. For more details, please send a private message to our page.

We look forward to hearing from you! 🎶

🇬🇧
A year ago, on the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we - with a different choir lineup - performed “Plyne Kacha” at the Senate of Canada.

This traditional lament became a symbol of mourning after the 2014 Revolution of Dignity. Since then, it has been sung to honour those who lost their lives and to remind us of the cost of freedom.

Today, we remember all who gave their lives in this fight for freedom. 💙💛

This Christmas, our Ukrainian choir UKIES chose to preserve a beautiful and meaningful tradition — caroling.

For us, it was more than just singing. We wanted to bring the true spirit of Christmas into people’s homes: warmth, light, hope, and unity.

But this year, our caroling had an additional mission. Along with sharing music, we were raising funds for the Ukrainian medical battalion Hospitallers .ukraine_paramedic . It was important for us to support those who save lives every day. Our country continues to live through war, and any help — even the smallest contribution — can become decisive for someone.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports our art, who welcomed us into their spaces, and who joined our fundraising efforts.

Your kindness and generosity remind us that even in the darkest times, the spirit of community and compassion remains strong.

Thank you for standing with Ukraine and for standing with us.
