A Platform for the lovers of all things dark!
Here at MMB, Shade and I (Avacyn) had the idea back in the spring of 2019. We really saw an absence of metal burlesque in the Ottawa scene, so we quickly decided to provide a platform to which gives all performers from all variations of the performing arts a chance to show their darker side. From Gothic to the macabre, fe**sh and of course, metal!
As the metal scene is growing fast in the Ottawa city, Shade and I wanted to provide another form of art to accommodate this growing scene. What better than having a metal burlesque show?
We conduct these shows at the Dominion Tavern, our main sponsors are BarDaddy & Ottawa’s metal restaurant The Koven. These shows are also done quarterly, so every season we will give you a well coordinated and spectacular show with members of the local burlesque community as well as those from afar!
If you are a performer, the limit does not stop at just burlesque, we welcome other forms of performing art. If you are interested on taking part of this niche event, please send us a message with your stage name and material.
