Still working away at the and I’m definitely thinking of spring and summer (even though we still have like 4 ft of snow and ice here but hey a girl can dream).

I was so excited last year when a few of my sunflowers grew, so now I have a whole sunflower theme, mixed in with reference photos from the sunflower farm in Manitowaning.

Attempting again and I’m not entirely clear if I’ll work on larger paintings or more of these little “paint sketches” ...

Attempting again and I’m not entirely clear if I’ll work on larger paintings or more of these little “paint sketches” but either way, just trying to paint a bit each day.

You would think in winter I would get so much painting done but 😳 that’s not the case for me! So hopefully this gets me back into it!

There are certain things that catch my eye when it comes to choosing something to paint.

I love a good old barn, and there are certain trees that just stand out. 🌳I also love a beautiful sunset, though I can never do as good a job as nature does ;) 🌅

What are some things that always seem to catch your eye?
