Stoked to be part of Chicago Art Fair with Perseus Gallery Collection NY . Relieved to know my work was delivered today.

I had an opportunity to go to Chicago a few years ago, but had to cancel so this is a bit of a dream come true and a follow up to that opportunity. I hear that Chicago art lovers like colour and abstract art and I look forward to a good show. Thank you to Perseus gallery for taking on my work.

Marsh in the Fall is now hanging at the offices of Point Click Care at The Well in downtown Toronto. They are a software company that streamlines workflows and lifts administrative burdens in healthcare settings so that providers can focus on their patients. They are also a company that supports artists through Gallery’s rental program. I appreciate this opportunity to have my work in such a beautiful location where it can be enjoyed by staff.

My work arrived in Los Angeles, and has been showing at The Pop-up Project’s show, Voltage of Hope at Studios. Along with work of over 60 international artists my work has been seen by an audience that I never would have imagined. That’s cool. The show has ended now but there is much to appreciate and there is an online gallery. My work is also on Artsy. See my bio.

This making and showing your art business has been a journey of growth and discovery for me. Learning that I have something to say. That through art I can engage one-on-one in person and also virtually with such a diverse group of people. Making art has brought me out of myself, has made me own up to my own vulnerabilities and has helped me take risks.

Let’s see where it goes next!

I’ve enjoyed being a part of this show, even from afar.

Thank you to the organizers of Artwalk in the Square. Morgan Booth, Barb Showler Lewis, the Artists’ Network and all the volunteers for running a top notch show. Morgan is always accessible and open to suggestions. She even recruits her partner, Scott, as show photographer.

I enjoyed meaningful conversations with new and returning fans, including some teenage boys who had some excellent questions. I am always amazed by the visitors and their insights.

This year some of my works on paper found new homes. I forgot to take photos as they headed off but hope to post them once they are hung in their new homes. Thank you to my new collectors.

I enjoyed meeting the artists in my row, Melina, Sarah, Andrew, Dorit and Mary Perkins. and renewing friendships with many accomplished artists.

The outdoor shows are done for now. I will be at some indoor shows perhaps, including the Beach Guild of Fine Art’s fall show. Keep tuned.
