In 1996 these pioneers of Kootenay Gay Pride marched on Labour Day weekend, despite the city denying their request for a proclamation and banner acknowledging Pride. This year, Nelson Pride is celebrating 30 years of Pride in Nelson! More details to come over the following weeks, but something new is hatching.

Roll the dice and join us at Nelson United Church (602 Silica St) from 7–9 PM for a chill evening of tabletop games. Bring your favourites or play what’s there — all welcome, ages 14+.
