I’m honored to be donating this original oil painting to the Wild Horses of Alberta Society for their upcoming live silent auction at the Olds Legion on Saturday, May 30th.

Valued at $2,600, this piece will be part of the auction, with all proceeds going directly toward supporting the horses in their care—work that truly matters.

I had the chance to meet this incredible group at Horse Expo 2026, and I was deeply moved by their story, their dedication, and the genuine passion of the people behind it. It made this donation an easy and meaningful decision.

Capturing the spirit of wild horses❤️

After many hours painting his the flowing manes, I'm now focusing on the legs of my wild stallion painting. It's almost done and I'm excited with how it's turning out! 🐎🎨.

Last summer, I lost my heart horse, Jack. He was the gentlest soul and brought a quiet kind of peace into my life that’s hard to put into words.

I think only horse people truly understand this kind of loss—the depth of that connection. To others, it might seem hard to explain, but it’s something you feel in your soul.

Losing him so suddenly made me step back, slow down, and really take the time to grieve and reflect.

I’m learning that it’s okay to not rush into the next chapter—to wait until you’re truly ready again.

I’m not there yet, but I’m moving forward… and that feels like enough 🤍

White Stallion — Work in Progress 🐎🎨

This painting has already seen hours of work, and sometimes you just have to let a piece rest until the right moment comes. It’s been almost a year since I last picked up the brush on this one — but inspiration has a funny way of circling back when the timing feels right.

There’s still plenty to do, but I’m excited to be bringing this white stallion back to life on canvas.
