Just bought your first home? Perhaps you've sold or you just really like your home and would like to have a tiny version. I make small scale miniatures from recycled materials like cereal boxes and plastic packaging plus paper, a bit of wood and found objects.

I came across these plans and knew I had to try to build it. Designed by architect Le Corbusier in 1930 for a Chilean diplomat to Argentina, it was never built. This design was the first instance of the butterfly roof that would become very popular in California following WWII and that I love.

Installed the loft that will become the bedroom floor/kitchen ceiling and put the kitchen in place. Debating whether to change the lights over the island - if nothing else, they need to be straightened. I think my next task will be to build the staircase because the people need to access the second level. I've been dreading it and so put it off as long as I could.
