I'm trying to decide what to do about sharing my art social media. I've been absent here while I figure it out. AI is slowly taking over and as soon as I read AI type I lose interest SO fast. Also as an introvert artist, the pressure to constantly post, show process videos, etc was just too much.
As an artist, I value human made things and quality over quantity. I'll admit I used AI to help craft emails a few years ago but I stopped as it didn't feel genuine. I pour my heart into my work, which is a very human and vulnerable thing to do, so turning around and using AI to market my art doesn't feel right to me.
I'm still not sure what direction I'll take with Instagram, but for the last 2 months I've been sending updates through email. It's quickly becoming my favorite place to share. I made a typo in the email I sent out this morning letting email subscribers know that there's only 4 days left to get August's edition of the postcard club!
