We were very pleased to be invited to present excerpts of “Meet Me” at the 2022 English Symposium at Vanier College. Students and faculty participated in a thought provoking discussion with our artistic team members.

The English Department holds an annual English Symposium every fall semester. This event gathers speakers and performers from a wide range of artistic and scholarship fields, and allows for further exploration of a particular theme related to literary works and genres.

This year’s symposium will take place from November 2-4, 2022.

“Have you been to Meet Me yet? I checked out the new .theatre immersive show Friday night. You are assigned to follow one of three characters: Gemma, Qas and Roslyn. I followed .dame as Gemma, a rising artist/academic who counts Ros as a mentor and is infatuated with Qas. The audience gives the character input and advice, and can influence their actions - so no show is the same! Some 500 pages of dialogue were written to accommodate every possibility. A truly thought-provoking and fun show that takes you to different points on the McGill campus. Directed by . Continues until October 8.” - Sarah
