My presence on stage had to feel like an extension of the music: a world of oceanic flows, deep melancholy blues, and fierce glowing reds, materialized by local Montréal creatives.

1.5 years ago, I started making a song I almost didn’t finish

I had to figure out how to record and release music professionally for the first time. It was also the first song I made where I both played violin and sang!

Definitely had lots of doubts, but I had a vision I couldn’t let go of.

I wanted to release it alongside my MUTEK Montréal debut, my first major live performance.

Honey & Smoke, my first single, is out August 26.
