A big congratulations to all the bands and masqueraders who took part in Carimas 2026!

You brought colour, energy and true carnival spirit to the streets of Montréal. We know how much time, hard work and dedication go into preparing for the road, and every band played an important part in making this year’s celebration special.

Thank you to the bandleaders, costume designers, volunteers, supporters and everyone who worked behind the scenes.

Congratulations again to our winners and to every band that participated. We appreciate you, and we look forward to seeing you back on the road for an even bigger Carimas 2027!

QUELLE JOURNÉE INOUBLIABLE 🔥

Montréal, merci d’avoir été au rendez-vous, d’avoir brandi vos drapeaux, dansé dans les rues et célébré les cultures qui rendent Carimas si unique.

Depuis des années, nous travaillons aux côtés de la Ville pour redonner au Carnaval la place qu’il mérite. Chaque année, nous nous en rapprochons un peu plus, et c’est grâce à vous. Chaque personne présente, chaque sourire, chaque pas de danse, chaque drapeau a envoyé un message clair : Montréal veut son Carnaval.

Merci de croire en Carimas. Merci de célébrer avec nous. Merci de nous soutenir. Merci de nous aider à grandir et à nous améliorer, année après année.

Mais surtout, un immense merci à toutes les bandes pour votre travail acharné. Sans vous, rien de tout cela ne serait possible. 💕

Montreal, thank you for showing up, waving your flags, dancing in the streets, and celebrating the cultures that make Carimas so special.

For years, we’ve worked alongside the City to bring Carnival back to where it belongs. Every year, we get a little closer and that’s because of you. Every person who came out, every smile, every dance, every flag sent a clear message: Montreal wants Carnival.

Thank you for believing in Carimas. Thank you for celebrating with us. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for helping us build and get better every year.

But most importantly, thank you to all the bands for your hard work. Without you, this wouldn’t be possible 💕

Voici un petit rappel pour demain ! Le départ se fera à l'angle des rues Jeanne-Mance et René-Lévesque à midi, et l'arrivée à la Place du Canada (rues Peel et de la Cathédrale).

L'une des questions que nous recevons chaque année est :
« Combien de temps les groupes seront-ils sur la route? »

Nous vous entendons.

Au cours des dernières années, plusieurs d'entre vous nous ont indiqué que le parcours semblait trop rapide. Pour 2026, nous avons travaillé étroitement avec nos partenaires afin de maximiser le temps passé sur la route, offrant aux groupes costumés, aux spectateurs et aux supporters davantage d'occasions de profiter pleinement de l'expérience Carimas.
