Sloan Kooshan is a trans & Q***r BIPOC stand-up comedian and producer of the SWANA Comedy Show, a stand-up comedy showcase dedicated to raising funds for the children of Gaza and highlighting the diversity of SWANA communities within a unified landscape.

He has been featured at Zoofest (OFF JFL) in 2023 and We’re Funny That Way in 2024. Sloan has also performed in Berlin for three consecutive years, most recently debuting his European tour with performances in London, Amsterdam, The Hague, Paris, and Berlin. In August 2025, he appeared in six different shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Sloan’s comedic style blends improvised storytelling with sharp, “thinker” jokes. A recent graduate of Joke Club Season 2, he brings a unique perspective to comedy, having been born in France to Iranian immigrant parents and raised in Quebec.

Sloan Kooshan est un humoriste trans et q***r racisé ainsi que producteur du SWANA Comedy Show, un spectacle d’humour dédié à la collecte de fonds pour les enfants de Gaza et à la mise en valeur de la diversité des communautés SWANA dans un paysage unifié.

Il s’est produit à Zoofest (OFF JFL) en 2023 ainsi qu’à We’re Funny That Way en 2024.
