Day 3 of is Gymnote, a 70/30 merino/silk blended top from the set. The wheel is the Prelude, and I went up a ratio from 6:1 to 10.5:1. It made the difference I was looking for. This is a true DK weight, and I got 54m out of 20g. It still has softness and loft, thanks to the fine fibres, the fauxlags, and the longdraw, but it is a bit more structure and a lighter gauge. This is how I’ll spin the rest of the packets.
