Exciting news: I just hit 135 newsletter subscribers! A meaningful milestone for me.😊😊

Thank you all so much for your support!

Writing for a newsletter and posting on social media are two very different creative processes. In my newsletter, I get to tell longer stories and dive deeper into my creative journey, whether that means crafting a complete narrative or sharing the behind-the-scenes of my work. Social media, on the other hand, is more about capturing moments in real-time—something I haven’t done as much since becoming a mom. 😂

I’m so grateful to everyone who has subscribed. I’ll keep creating and sharing more stories with you in both newsletters and my social media! ❤️

While organizing my laptop this morning, I found these old drawings from a few years ago, with my first and favourite character, Zozo. As I sat in front of my desk, looking through them one by one, memories of my French learning journey came rushing back. I chuckled and then smiled. Because even now, they are still so relatable. For a long time, I felt lost and anxious about the rise of AI, and my passion was greatly diminished. Last night, I had a casual conversation with a friend. When talking about career choices, she encouraged me to continue creating. She offered me invaluable affirmation by saying, ‘AI can never replace you in experiencing and capturing the beauty in life and humanity. These deep human elements are the most precious of all...’

I am truly grateful to her and want to transform this inspiring conversation into comics to share with those who may also feel overwhelmed by AI. Hopefully, it will offer you some insight and encouragement as well.

Yay! I'm back! In the past few months, I've taken a break to spend more time with my kids and plan my future creative direction. 📋
