Worked on this painting today. Got the background almost done. Got a bit more to do before starting on the snowy owl. The owl's reference is my own photo 😀

Saturday is market day at Salisbury Farmers and Artisans Market. I'll be there until 1:30pm. I'll have my Horse and cardinal painting with me as it just got dry. It still needs varnished and framed, but I'll have some prints and cards 😀

I think I'm done. I signed it, but that doesn't always mean it's finished....LOL.
I will let it sit for a few days to see if I want to do any adjustments 😀

I'm calling this one "Unbridled Spirits".
I'm working on a write up with my thoughts behind it and that will come later 😀

Unfortunately due to inclement weather for Sunday, the Blossom Grove Tulip Festival market has been cancelled.

So my next market is going to be next Saturday at the Salisbury Farmers and Artisans Market.

Progress on my Horse and Cardinal oil painting. It has been sitting in my studio for a long time now while I was working on other paintings....lol. I thought it was time to put it up on the easel again and work on it today 😀

I'm hoping to finish this one next week. We'll see if I can 😁

Reminder that Saturday and Sunday are market days. Saturday at La Rose Gatherings at the Notre Centre in Grande-Digue, and Sunday at the Blossom Grove Farm in Colpitts Settlement.

New Oil Painting!
I'm using water mixable oils for the last few oil paintings and this one is another.

Double Markets this weekend!

I will be at the Blossom Grove Farm market on Sunday from 12 to 6pm in the Barn. Address is: 215 Synton Rd, Colpitts Settlement, NB.

Back home from the Salisbury Market 😀

Thought I would share this. It's going to be at the Shediac Art Gallery for the month of June along with a few more of my paintings with the nautical/ fishing theme.
If you haven't been at the gallery, you should definitely make the trip. It's like a breath of fresh air with a beautiful display of Art 😀
