I put on my rock playlist after getting my hair done the other day and realized while knitting on the ferry what a funny picture this must be. Niches make marketing a lot easier but people (and art) were never meant to fit into boxes.

Spent a few nights away for my friends 31st birthday and we actually managed to document some of it for once. Anyone else’s friend group notoriously bad at remembering to take photos? Acquiring a webfooted friend on the first night certainly helps 🐥

Getting some practice in for a few upcoming shows and figured I should set my phone up and post something. If you want to hear this live come out to the 45th Parallel on Valentine’s Day from 5-7! I’ll also be over in St. Andrews at the brewery next Wednesday, the 18th from 7-9 for all you mainlanders. They’re my first two shows of the year so come on out and say hi!

A little belated but I’m looking back on 2025 and I just want to say how grateful I am to be able to pursue this. I’m playing stages that I watched others play years ago and wondering, “will I ever get there?” But here I am, playing the Container Village, the Charlotte Street Arts Center, Paddlefest, the list goes on.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended my shows in 2025 and supported me along the way. And thank you so much to and the for financially supporting so many of my shows through the MNB Live Performance Grant. I feel incredibly lucky to live in a place where art is taken seriously and given the respect it deserves.

Hope 2026 has treated you all well so far. Stay safe, be kind, and smile whenever you can.
