2:13:07​ P.B. lap at Calabogie Motorsports Park during the last 2026 HPDE day. With the OEM front swaybar adjustment, the GT4 had 2:11​ in it but there was too much traffic to reach my objective as the day progressed. The weather was perfect to end the season and more participants joined for the afternoon sessions.

My tires were cooked and started delaminating by the afternoon. I flipped the wheels to try to stretch the Nankang CRSV2 tires were but they were on their 4th track day and 2000+ street Kilometers (I do not trailer the car).

Is AI the Ultimate Track Day Cheat Code?

I have been experimenting with A.I. a lot lately, including to help build a custom DSC Sport controller damper map for my Porsche GT4 based on modifications and the tracks I visit.

Today, I took it a step further. I uploaded the telemetry graphs of my Personal Best (2:13.16) versus my Optimal Lap (2:11.07) straight into the AI to see if it could decode where I’m leaving time on the table.

The results? Mind-blowing: Instead of just staring at squiggly lines, the AI instantly cross-referenced my -1.32G braking forces, 1.52G lateral spikes, and delta times to diagnose exactly what my chassis was doing mid-corner. It caught that my front end was rolling too heavily on a soft bar setup, folding my front 255 Nankangs onto their outer shoulders and killing my Minimum Apex Speed (V-Min).

The data-driven fix for next weekend:
• Drop hot tire pressures to 29-30 PSI to stop tread ballooning.
• Stiffen to a Middle/Middle front/rear sway bar setup to cure the diagonal chassis roll.
• Trust the -3.2° front camber to stay flat on the asphalt so I can get on throttle sooner.
