This past weekend, during Thunder Valley Truck Rodeo, several items were taken from Anderson Event Park, including two inflatable Labbatts beer cans, multiple sponsor banners, and both of our Anderson Event Park entrance signs (Main Entrance and Camping Entrance).

To whoever took these items, we ask that you please take a moment to consider the impact of your actions.

Anderson Event Park is a family-run business built by countless hours of hard work, long days, and the dedication of family, friends, and volunteers who believe in what we’re trying to create. Many of the items you see around the park are purchased with sponsorship dollars that local businesses generously invest in our events. Others, like the inflatable beer cans, are generously loaned to us by our sponsors to help create the atmosphere our guests enjoy.

When these items disappear, it doesn’t just hurt our business—it affects the people and businesses that support us. It means replacing equipment instead of investing in the next event. It means explaining to a sponsor why something they trusted us with never came home. It’s heartbreaking, especially after a weekend that was otherwise filled with so much community support.

We’re asking the person or people responsible to please do the right thing.

If everything is returned, there will be absolutely no questions asked. You can leave the items anonymously at either entrance to Anderson Event Park or contact us to arrange another way to return them. Our only priority is getting these items back where they belong.

We truly don’t want to involve the police. We’d much rather believe this was a poor decision that can still be made right.
