We had a sit down interview with the creator of the honour song Elder George Paul of Metepenagiag Mi'kmaq Nation.

Mi’gmaq honour song is one of the biggest songs known to Mi’gma’gi.

Last week was the 45th anniversary of the raids in Listuguj. This event, although unfortunate, led to our two communities taking charge of our fisheries and claiming our rights to fish on our traditional territory.

Good morning everyone! Today, we’d like to here your thoughts and memories about the different stores and shops that used to be in Gesgapegiag. 🏪 Cantines, workshops, depanneurs: we’d love to know where our people used to work… or where they would get a cold pop or a burger! Do you remember places like John Baptist Condo’s workshop, right in front of the depanneur? Or the snowshoe factory? Which shops and stores from back in the day do you remember?
