Another drawing reflecting a theory in practice on authentic creativity for artists. This aspect of the theory calls for deep meditation in focussing on one repeated motion. In this instance it is a blade of grass. I came to this mainly in reading Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass." Whitman believed that spiritual meaning is found in the everyday, the "common," and the "material" world right in front of us and that even a blade of grass is a kosmos, a unique, powerful entity.
