Little Fixers Pop Up - sessions running every Friday Morning until the 10th July at the East Dulwich Community Centre!
We were only meant to stay 4 weeks but we loved the Large Hall at the East Dulwich Community Centre, and you did too so we decided to extend our Pop Up!

Let's meet again from the 5th June for a summer of fun, arty and practical activities! Stay & Play for children 6mo-5yo, Workshops from 3yo.

Once again we will work in collaboration with the amazing Marie bringing nature and art to our schedule.

What's on Friday 5th June

Stay & play and craft tables: 10am- 12pm
from 6mo to 5yo

Workshops:
10 am - Little Fixers. On Friday we will explore practical skills, learn how to use a screw driver and a hammer and get little ones imagination going with our surprise tinker box.

11am- Nature Makers workshop! Explore the beautiful colours of our natural world by making a mini rainbow with beads. We can't wait to see the result!

Little Fixers on Friday at the East Dulwich Community Centre!

The sunshine will make this Friday very special and we look forward to welcoming you for creative sessions and Stay & Play from 10am-12pm. We will have access to the outdoor space for workshops and Stay & Play, and a big space to run!

Stay & Play: 10am-12pm, toys, games and craft. We will end the session with songs and story time.

10am: Let’s play the builder, the maker, and the painter!
♻️We will be using cardboard, tools, and paint to create a big creature together.
🌈Children will be introduced to tools in a safe and supervised way while developing their creativity, problem-solving, and sequencing skills.
11am: Nature Makers workshop will be all about Butterfly :
🎨Giant butterfly wing painting with lots of free collaborative creativity
🦋 Making our own butterfly feeders to attract fluttering friends to our gardensto create

As we head into our final week at Little Fixers, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you 💛

What started as a simple idea has grown into something really special; a space full of curiosity, creativity, and community. From tiny hands learning how things work, to families coming together to fix, make, play and explore… it’s been such a joy!

The last week is going to be a celebration! Final Stay & Plays, Workshops and Story Times. And we will be ending on a high with our Easter Fair this Saturday🐣✨
Expect hands-on activities, playful making, and plenty of chances to get stuck in. The perfect way to celebrate everything Little Fixers has been about.

If you’ve missed the news, we’ll be leaving our lovely space on Lordship Lane at the end of the month. Our last day will be Saturday 28th March.

Don’t worry, this isn’t the end of us. We’re already working on our next chapter and hope to welcome you soon for Workshops and Stay & Play in East Dulwich and the surrounding area.

In the meantime, you still have two weeks to enjoy our space and activities in the heart of East Dulwich.

See what’s on for the last week of January:

✂️ Monday – Fix It Studio - £14
Creative making workshops focused on fine motor skills, scissors skills and early mending.
Over the next 3 weeks, children will be working towards making a small stuffed animal key ring, building skills step by step along the way.
🔧 Wednesday – Repair Lab - £14
Hands-on building and invention using tools and reclaimed materials.
Over the next 3 weeks, we’ll be making a box, learning how to use screwdrivers, align pieces and build something sturdy and inventive to take home — come join us!
🌿 Friday – Nature Club- £10
An open, mixed-age session exploring the natural world through play.
This week we’ll be exploring rocks, with plenty of sensory, messy and muddy play alongside simple nature-based activities.
All sessions are fun, educational and carefully adapted by age, with workshops for 2yo+ and Level 1 (3yo+).
🧸 Stay & Play - £5
A calm, welcoming space for babies and young children, with age-appropriate toys and open-ended play. Parents and carers stay and enjoy the space together.
📖 Story Time - Free
Gentle, interactive story sessions for little ones, perfect for a slower moment in the week.

Some creative workshops coming up at Little Fixers! Combining play, learning and making — perfect for curious little hands.

Nature Club – tomorrow, Friday 23rd January
A special Big Garden Birdwatch! We’ll be learning about local birds and their habitats, exploring who lives in our parks and gardens and what they need to thrive. Alongside this, there will be sensory, muddy and messy play in our small courtyard, giving children plenty of time to explore and experiment in a relaxed way.
Suitable for children from 2 years old, with parents/carers staying to join in.

Fix It Studio – Saturday & Monday
A creative making workshop focused on scissors skills, crafting and early mending.
10.00am – 2yo+: playful cutting, simple crafts and fine motor activities
11.15am – 3yo+: more structured scissors work, plus an introduction to early sewing motions, adapted for older children with more complex exercises
Both workshops sessions are fun and educational, perfect for rainy days!
And don't forget, we run Stay & Play most days.

Saturday Join us for a Christmas crafting session filled with festive fun and creativity! Drop in any time between 9.30am and 11.45am for small Christmas craft activities. Most children will enjoy around 30 minutes of crafting, at their own pace.
