Theatre Aezir (a professional company) is looking for exceptional talent for our
upcoming spring production of Lucy Kirkwood’s acclaimed drama, The Children. We
are seeking three dynamic performers to bring this powerful story to life in London,
Ontario.
THE ROLES WE'RE CASTING
1 Male-Identifying Actor: 60s to early 70s
2 Female-Identifying Actors: 60s to early 70s

PRODUCTION TIMELINE
Audition Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026 (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM) or by
appointment
Submission Deadline: September 10, 2026
Rehearsals Begin: March 14, 2027
Show Run: April 8 – April 18, 2027
Audition Location: TBD (London, ON)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Monologues: Prepare two contrasting 1–2 minute monologues of your choice to
showcase your range.
Sides: Audition sides will be provided ahead of your appointment.
Note: Audition, rehearsal, and performance spaces are fully accessible.

We're happy to be back at Victoria Park this weekend for London Pride 2026.

As excited as we are to see you all in person and share every exciting detail of our upcoming productions, please stay safe and take precautions with the current air quality conditions. ⚠
