I am thankful for this beautiful planet we call Earth.

Decided to post something a little unusual today - a look into a different part of me.
🌙 Bodhi and I walk every night before we go to bed. ‼️read below for safety measures
📷 And my photographer eye doesn’t stop just because there’s no sunlight. So I thought, hey - why not share those photographs, too.
📱They’re nothing special - just captured with my iPhone 12 Mini. But these are things I’ve noticed while walking and thought, aww…cute! Or, hmm…that’s interesting. Or, ooo…I like how the streetlight is lighting that up.
1st Photo = Eastern Newt (Ontario’s only native Newt)
2nd Photo = Fog surrounding a tree
3rd Photo = Praying Mantis
4th Photo = Excavator (they’re doing major infrastructure work on the road behind us)
5th Photo = My towns first school - opened in 1856 and closed in 1960 (I find it kind of spooky to walk by at night)

‼️Yes, I know - danger! Don’t worry, his entire leash, (which goes around my waist and includes a pouch), has reflective stitching - as does his harness, and he wears a collar that lights up bright green. He also likes to stop a lot to sniff things, and every time he does, I scan my surroundings.

Apparently it’s Mad Hatter Day 🎩🧡✨

I created this artwork in February 2025. It began as water droplets on my shower wall, which my imagination turned into faces and other shapes. When I added an orange filter over this particular macro photograph, I could immediately see the Mad Hatter. I created him in Procreate, using a variety of drawing and painting techniques.
